These founders wanted Riyadh Threadh to feel like a brand that locals could call their own. They had a specific style and identity in mind and needed a brand designer who could help them bring it to life. That’s where I came in.
Hanzala reached out to me on Instagram, asking if I could design a logo for their new brand. But after hearing about their vision, I knew that a logo alone wouldn’t do justice to what they wanted to build. During our first call, I explained the process of creating a full brand identity, including strategy and positioning. Once they saw the full scope and impact of a complete brand identity, they were sold on moving forward with the entire process.
With trust established from that first call, we agreed to go all in. We started working on a full identity that would set Riyadh Threadh apart, ensuring it would resonate deeply with both traditional and modern audiences in Riyadh.

We began by analyzing competitors to see where Riyadh Threadh could stand out. From there, we worked on positioning and chose a brand archetype that fit the founders’ vision. A mood board helped us lock in the look and feel we were aiming for—a mix of modern streetwear with a touch of tradition.
For the logo, we wanted something that felt distinctly connected to Riyadh. I used the negative space of the Kingdom Centre, a well-known building, as inspiration. This touch brought a sense of local pride to the brand’s look. Once the logo and visual identity were ready, I put together a brand guideline that covered everything from color palette and typography to packaging and billboard designs, giving them a clear, consistent look for every part of their brand.

The final deliverables included a brand strategy and identity with clear positioning, tone of voice, visual identity, and a unique logo. We developed a strong color palette, typography, and identity system, along with mock-ups and brand guidelines. Additionally, we designed a few initial clothing pieces to set the tone for their launch.
From logos to launch-ready designs, Riyadh Threadh had everything they needed to step into the market with a clear, unique brand identity. The project grew beyond their initial expectations, and the end result was a brand that connected deeply with their vision.

Once the project wrapped up, the feedback from Hanzala, Junaid, and Aamir was very positive. They loved how the brand came together, and even those outside their team appreciated the identity we had built. Unfortunately, due to unexpected financial challenges, they decided to put the project on hold just two months after completion.
While Riyadh Threadh didn’t officially launch, the positive response showed that the identity we created was right on point. It was a brand with potential to bridge the gap between tradition and streetwear, ready to make its mark when the timing is right.
